There are heaps of Golden Paste recipes on the internet, but ours is the only one to be naturopath and nutritionist approved, utilizing scientific research to inform our (golden) ratio.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups of pure/filtered water
3/4 cup organic turmeric powder (if in Australia, buy here)
1/2 cup coconut oil or ghee
1 teaspoon black pepper powder (not cracked)
Method:
Combine the water and turmeric powder in a small or medium saucepan and heat on low for 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from the heat, add black pepper powder and coconut oil or ghee then return to the heat for another minute or until the texture is as you desire it – most people like it when it sticks to the spoon but is still soft and pliable.
